NexFortified is a security company, so protecting your information matters to us. This policy explains what we collect through this website and our contact channels, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

• Contact form details: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the service you are interested in, and your message.
• Messages you send us directly: anything you share when you email, call, or message us on WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram, or Facebook.
• Client engagement information: if you become a client, the information needed to deliver and document our work, as set out in our agreement with you.

Our contact form does not send data to a server of ours. When you press "Send message", it opens your own email app with the message ready to send, and the email travels through your email provider to us.

3. What we don't do

• We do not use advertising trackers or analytics tools on this website.
• We do not set cookies of our own.
• We do not sell your personal information.

The only thing this site stores on your device is your light or dark theme choice, kept in your browser's local storage so it is remembered on your next visit. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

4. Third-party services

This website loads fonts from Google Fonts and icons from Font Awesome (through the cdnjs network). When a page loads, those providers receive technical information such as your IP address and browser type, under their own privacy policies. Links to WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook take you to those platforms, which have their own policies. We are not responsible for how they handle your data.

5. How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiries and recommend the right service.
• To plan, deliver, and report on security work for clients.
• To keep records and meet our legal and contractual obligations.

6. Sharing your information

We share information only when necessary: with trusted partners who help us deliver an engagement and are bound to keep it confidential, with service providers who support our business (such as email), or when the law requires it. We do not share it for marketing.

7. Keeping your information secure

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the information we hold, including limiting access to the people who need it. Please do not send passwords, access keys, or details of security weaknesses through the contact form or ordinary email. If your enquiry involves sensitive material, tell us and we will agree on a secure way to share it.

8. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and client information for as long as needed to deliver our services and meet legal or contractual requirements. After that, we delete it or anonymize it.

9. Your rights

Under applicable data protection law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 where it applies, you may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, object to or restrict how we use it, or withdraw consent you have given. Email info@nexfortified.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority, such as the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

10. Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
